Get the glamorous asiatic look with RMK

Lookfantastic recently sent me a couple of products of RMK and today I want to let you know more about this brand that some of you may not know.

Inspired by the New Your make-up artistry scene and produced in Japan RMK motto is "Revealing the best and most beautiful you!"

If you've already heard of RMK it is probably because of its Liquid Foundation, that has complete changed the perception of "skin" when launched in 1997.

In order to be trendy and up-to-date, RMK regularly comes out with new collections, vibrant colors for lips, cheeks and eyes with the finest ingredients and the highest technology. Same efforts are put in their skin care range, too.

But beside this the color collection, the signature of this brand is still a dewy natural and translucent look. Which is very typical for asiatic habits.

Today RMK is top selling makeup artist brand in Japan, and is getting more and more popular around the world.

Now let's see what I've tried from this brand and what are my thoughts about them.

RMK Matte Mascara 01

31,51 Euro on

This mascara aims to give your lashes drama and strength. The new wand called "W brush" is also what makes this mascara special. The straight side gives volume to your lashes, and is very easy to use from the roots to the ends. The curved side curves and separates your lashes. The formula is enriched with royal jelly extract to moisture and strengthen the lashes. The color is super black and MATTE and what I also like about this mascara is that it is WATERPROOF.
As you may already know I go to the gym everyday, and I'm always wearing mascara, therefore I'm always looking for the perfect waterproof formula in order to avoid the panda look :)
I find that this mascara is super resistant and didn't smudge at all. It is also quite hard to remove, but with the right eye makeup remover you will do it pretty easily.

RMK Matte Shiny Eyepencil 06

38,36 Euro on

As you can see in the picture this is a 2-in-1 product. A matte eye pencil on one side and a felted powder applicator on the other side. With this product you can really let your creativity out, as it is very versatile. With the pencil you can draw a thin line to outline your lash line, or design a bold cat eye wing. At the same time you can decide to overlay it with the shiny powder to give your look a glamorous touch. I've been using the felted side also to highlight, for example to highlight the inner corner of the eyes, or to enhance the brow bone. As I just said a definitely think that this product can be very useful and versatile, especially when you are traveling and don't want to carry around too many products. Smart, isn't it?

RMK Kaleidoscope Eyes beige-pink

22,03 Euro on

The beige pinky colors featured in this palette are the perfect image of RMK. Very feminine and soft this eyeshadows really make your eyes glowing.  Of course you won't be able to do a dramatic look, because this is the complete opposite of "bold shades". Enriched with polarized pearl pigments this palette suits all skin tones and is very smart and compact, just perfect for an on-the-go application. Also in this case I really think that you can let your creativity out and try different uses. For example I really like to use this as a highlighter on my cheekbones or just over my blush to give a more dewy look.

I really liked these products and I will surely try other things in the future. And what about you, have you already tried something from this brand? Let me know in the comments down below.
