Gwen Stefani for Urban Decay: the make up collection of your dreams

Have you been able to grab something from the Gwen Stefani for Urban Decay collection?

I've bought the eyeshadow palette at Sephora, and I've been lucky enough to receive some samples from Urban Decay.

I'm really enjoying this collection, and I find it genius: from it shades to its packaging, one word AMAZING!

If you know Gwen Stefani, you can imagine how extravagant and glamorous this collection can be. If you are more a "nude look girl" you could give this line a chance, in order to change your look a little bit.

I have been playing with these products, and I want to show you a make up look I did. But before that let me go quickly through this beautiful collection.

Eyeshadow Palette

When I saw this at Sephora I was so intrigued that I couldn't leave it on the shelves :D and plus I had a 20% off discount.... what a better excuse to buy new make up?!?

The palette features shimmers and mattes, as well as neutral colors and bold ones. I find this palette so versatile, because you can create hundreds of looks, from the most natural to the most glamorous one. What I like about this color selection is that you can really play with contrasts. The pans are very pigmented and super blendable. This eyeshadow palette is all you need!

Blush Palette

Okay, okay...I must admit I have a problem with palettes! And every time I see THIS kind of palette... I totally loose control :D
Urban Decay kindly sent me this one as a sample, and now I feel as if I don't need anything else in my life. As you can see, the color range is pretty wide and complete, you have pale pink, peach and orangey shades. The darkest can also be used as bronzer. The pigmentation is amazing, a little goes a looong way. What I particularly like about these blushes is that they are not shimmery at all! This is perfect especially if you have enlarged pores and don't want to highlight them!

Gwen Stefani is certainly well known for wearing bold lip colors, especially red lipsticks! Of course she's also created 6 shades to add to her collection. Available in 6 differen shades this lipsticks are so pleasant to wear, so creamy and glamorous! The color selection goes, as for the eyeshadow palette, from nudes to blod shades, and also the finish is different from one shade to the other. Sheer, matte, mega matte.... The pigmetation is superb, and they stay on your lips for hours and hours, especially the pink and the red ones. Every shade features UD's proprietary Pigment Infusion System, for a super-creamy texture, rich payout and superior color dispersion.

24/7 Glide-On Lip Pencil

Never wear a lipstick without a lip pencil, especially if you want it to last longer... These waterproof pencils prime and define your lips. 24/7 formula applies smoothly, prevents feathering and lasts all day.

Brow Box

Least but not last the Brow Box. This cute treasure is your best friend when it comes to brows and you don't need anything else to create or retouch the perfect arch. The Box features 2 powders, a wax, a tweezer and 2 angles brushes and 2 mirrors. Can't believe they can fit so much stuff in the cutes box ever!

As I've told you at the beginning of my post I've been playing with some of the products of this collection, and now I want to show you the result and give you a step-by-step guide on how to achieve the look. It is pretty bold, and I would suggest it for a night out.

1. Start by applying you eyeshadow primer (Primer Potion) on your entire lid.

2. I've applied Anaheim and Zone in my crease and blended it with a fluffy brush

3. In the inner and outer corner pack with Punk, then blend it. Repeat this step until you get the intensity you like.

4. Pack the center of your lid with Danger. Carefully blend it with Punk.

5. For a stronger look repeat steps 4 and 5.

6. Apply concealer to the under eye area, set it with powder.

7. Blend Anaheim and Zone on the lower lash line, then apply Danger. Blend it super well!

8. Highlight brow bone and inner corner by using Blonde.

9. If you have big eyes apply black kajal to the waterline, if you have small eyes apply a nude one.

10. Apply mascara.

The eye look is now complete and you can proceed with your base as usual (exagerate with the highlighter ;) )

For this look I've also used Easy as blush and Wonderland as lipstick!

Hope you enjoyed the look! Leave me a comment <3 span="">
